Terry;
My estimation is from taking the seller at face value plus the photo shows
that the glaze is formed around the hairline which is only on one side.
Meaning factory flaw, very common in these pieces, and I still say it
wouldn't detract from the value.  Just my opinion!

I do not understand the factory flaw determination. It is a hairline crack
that is not just in the glaze. It is not a factory flaw. Cheers!  Terry
