They do not have a new mammy out. Its probably one of the cheap reproductions that flood the ebay market. If it is an authentic jar, it should be exactly 11 inches tall. A picture would be helpful, if you have one. 
I am not an expert by any stretch, and this is my opinion. There are many others on this list that are farrrrrr more knowledgeable than me. If I am mistaken i hope they will correct me.
As far as value goes, if its a reproduction,,, its only worth the clay its made from, in my humble opinion.

It is a little smaller then a normal cookie jar. I do not know enough about McCoy and what would be a selling price on something like this.
