Do you mean an actual catalog of some sort, or is it a general price guide such as Kovel's, Schroeder's or Warman's that has listings for pottery?

We have seen this jar in more than one catalog at Barnes and Noble. They 
identify it with a picture as being a McCoy. Valued in excess of $2000.00. 
We have been watching these catalogs over the years and the price just keeps 
increasing.

Never ever made by McCoy. There were 2 jars made by other potters. Have seen 
some marked as McCoy but are FAKES!
Have a friend who bought one at auction marked McCoy but got her money back 
after she informed auctioneer of the fake.
