If fliers went out to all the people on the McCoy Pottery group list, he must have assumed that people knew where she lived.  It is hard to imagine that there were so few people there.  As my husband said, a year or so agoi we would have been there.  We thought so much of Opal.

There were a lot of her friends there, but none of them were bidding.  They
didn't even sit or stand near the auction.  I think there was around 7 of us
bidding.   And having it at her house was certainly a beautiful place, but
OTOH, it was very difficult to find and no signs at the cross roads.  I know
the area a little bit, and still got lost completely so was 20 minutes late
at the beginning.
I'm well pleased with my purchases, but I felt bad for her.
