Identifying brown drip

My husband and I started collecting the McCoy brown
drip a couple of years ago after receiving some coffee
mugs as a gift. Our problem is identifying the
unmarked pieces. We find ourselves not wanting to
purchase any pieces that are not marked. Can anyone
suggest a way to help identify the unmarked pieces?
