The USA Mark

There are Shawnee pieces marked USA, usually with periods, I believe.
Also, there are some pieces of Shawnee, Brush, and Hull with a number
and USA. Once you become familiar with them, each company had its own
style of marking, Of course, they also had their own distinctive
glazes. Look at the books on some of these other potteries, and most
will show the marks. We started with McCoy in the 70's and got
interested in all Ohio potteries. There are some pieces we never get
