Hi,
I went to an auction of a friend of mine. At the prevues, he pointed to a dog
with a dish in his mouth and said I bet you don't know about this piece.
I said McCoy made it for Swank and it is a man's dresser item but the
shoehorn is missing. What fun! I love to identify unmarked pieces for him.
The auction was great but I didn't stay for the dog since I have two. There
was a great fuss made over a "Dennis the Menace" cookie jar. I'm not into
cookie jars, they take up too much room, but it was interesting to see the
bid go over $400.
I got 11 mission oak chairs though.
