  Hi! Can any one identify the maker of the Orange Cookie jar ebay listing
#1216373463? I bought a jar like this in 1959 at the same time that I bought
a Pineapple, Pear and a McCoy big red apple(the one with the strawberry
lid).  They were all on sale together at a Montgomery Wards store.  I have
been trying to identify the maker for about the last 10 years.  I have the
Cookie Jar collectors encyclopedia but can't find them.  The Orange and the
Pineapple have 4 digit black ink stamped numbers on the bottom.  The pear
looks just like it matches an Esmond green apple jar that I have.  The glaze
is the same and the shape of the leaves on the lid match.  I would also
appreciate any information on how Esmond and McCoy are related.
