One place no one has mentioned that I have gotten several pieces is auctions. 
I live in a small town that has several auctions weekly. A lot of times 
people will clear out basements, attics, etc.. and bring in several boxes. I 
have bought several pieces individually and oncce bought a box to get one 
piece {a teapot}. I got All these at a very small price, of course sometimes 
there is a lot of competion, depending on the bidders.
