Your story is like mine. We had a shop, were in malls, did shows, etc.,
and bought McCoy for next to nothing sometimes. Twice we had a chance
to buy collections of McCoy for an average of $2.00 each. Of course, we
sold much of ours for almost nothing compared to today's prices.
However, it was fun and we still made a profit at the time. I did do
well with my old brown and green, my basic collection, when I sold it
through a pottery auction. So often when I started to collect to it, no
one knew what it was so it was cheap.
