When I was taking ceramic classes back when dirt was clean and ceramic
classes was the thing everyone had to do, our instructor called a flea bite
when a tiny inperfection was caused by a bubble in the glaze coat that
popped during fireing.  Was a tiny little pin point in the final firing.
