In my mind, a "flea bite" is any sort of imperfection, whether a small pin
head glaze flake or a teeny chip or a firing "pop". The term "flea bite", to
me, indicates an imperfection (no matter the source) approximately the size
of a flea bite. For those of you who have never been bitten by a flea or are
unfamiliar with their bites, it is the same size as a misquito bite or a bee
sting.
