[Mccoypottery-talk] is my rooster cookie jar a fake?

I don't know much at all, but one thing that is consistent in all the research I have done, is that it says everywhere.... if your crazing is the same all over, it is fake, most authentic jars have crazing that is worse in some spots or on some sides.

It's a big fat black rooster with some white and gray on it. It's tail feathers are right up against his head and they're solid. No curls or openings in them. It looks sort of like a puff hen that I found under fakes, only the hen has curls in it's tail and was white. Mine has craze lines that run through to the inside.And when I compared the signature to the real mccoys I found online i couldn't see a difference.
