Okay everyone,
Before we get all whacko about hackers, etc., stop and think for a moment
about where most of your money is anyway.
It's in a bank...computer!
Just because it's in a bank's computer as opposed to your own, doesn't mean
it's out of reach of hackers and the like. It also doesn't mean that it's out
of reach of the so called dishonest employee. Minimum wage or not, a crook is
a crook no matter what you pay them.
We live in a time where we rely heavily on computers. Quite frankly, I like
the convenience and wouldn't want to go without them. If you would like to go
back to the "old fashioned way of doing things," that's your choice.
Personally, I say upgrade your firewalls and virus protection software regularly.
Enjoy the convenience of your home computer. And the next time you hand over
your charge card to a store employee or cash a check at the bank counter just
hope they're having a good day, and they don't owe their bookie any money.
