Well said. I do believe that we should do the old fashion boring things li=
ke balacing a checkbook once a month. Computers may not make mistakes but =
the humans that push the buttons do. Computers do make life easier. I have=
found that my tapes of the shows really did clean up nicely and as soon as=
I get this other vcr hooked up I will start making tapes and I will assure=
you that I do take PayPal, personal check, and I think several still on li=
ne would tell you that I trusted them and just sent them the tapes in the p=
ast and trusted them to send me a check. I have never been stung by any on=
e in our group and most of them appreciated my time enough that when the ch=
arges were $3.8? they even sent a $5.00 bill. It is nice to have old fash=
ioned groups where cash spends and you word means something. Let you know =
when they are ready. Betty the Okie in Iowa

Okay everyone,=20
Before we get all whacko about hackers, etc., stop and think for a moment=
about where most of your money is anyway.=20
It's in a bank...computer!=20
Just because it's in a bank's computer as opposed to your own, doesn't me=
an it's out of reach of hackers and the like. It also doesn't mean that it=
's out of reach of the so called dishonest employee. Minimum wage or not, =
a crook is a crook no matter what you pay them.=20
We live in a time where we rely heavily on computers. Quite frankly, I l=
ike the convenience and wouldn't want to go without them. If you would lik=
e to go back to the "old fashioned way of doing things," that's your choice=
. Personally, I say upgrade your firewalls and virus protection software r=
egularly. Enjoy the convenience of your home computer. And the next time =
you hand over your charge card to a store employee or cash a check at the b=
ank counter just hope they're having a good day, and they don't owe their b=
ookie any money. (smile)=20
