[Mccoypottery-talk] (still OT) re: viruses

I have had problems with email "worms" before. It is a particular kind of
virus that works its way into your addrress box and sends itself out to
everyone in there,..sending nonsensical.messages or gibberish. I have been
accused by some of deliberately sending them out,..so guess  some people
dont understand how that works. "The worm" is sending them! No further
problems like that since  I installed a firewall and Norton Anti-Virus 2003.
It was awful!
Symantic/Housecall  is a good place to go for a free scan for the LATEST
virus's. Remember, your softeware can only detect KNOWN virisus! People are
"out there" inventing new ones all the time! Nothing better to do, I guess.
