Hi John in Ohio--I think Robinson Ransbottom Pottery (a neighbor of McCoy 
Pottery) often used a slash in their markings.  I lent my book on RRPC to a 
dealer friend and don't have it back yet, but perhaps another list member has 
one on hand and could see if they made cornware--Lillian in Miami
