I'm not an expert on repros, but if yours is a repro, it was not done in th=
e normal way.  A copier usually takes an actual item and uses it to make a =
mold.  Then he fills the mold with semiliquid clay called slip.  This is al=
lowed to dry before the mold is removed.  The slip shrinks as it dries, and=
 then when the pottery is fired in a kiln, it shrinks some more.  So I don'=
t see any way that yours could have been made this way.  A repro-man would =
love to have your vase because his copies would shrink down to about book s=
ize. (Don't even think about it!)

  Hello,
       My wheat vase is taller and wider by 3/4" each way.   The McCoy USA =
on the bottom is raised.  do you think this is a reproduction?
