You know guys, there are wayyyy more men that buy at the auctions than
women!<G>
Many are dealers but there are just as many that enjoy the buy like my
husband and I do.
My hubby had a horribly disabling stroke last summer (I have posted about it
here before) and the way I got him back out in the public was taking him to
auctions.  He and I both can sit for hours at an auction and we BOTH so
enjoy it very much!!  It was great therapy for him as it is one place you
can go and not be bothered by anyone unless you want to strike up a
conversation and you aren't walking around for miles (like a department
store, theatre, or mall).
