At my age my, really our, wish list is to get rid of things, but I have
some McCoy that I wouldn't part with--a brown and green stoneware leaves
and berries lamp (not shown in any of the books), the cat on the coal
bucket cookie jar, and an early small jardiniere in leaves and berries
except that it is green. My late mother gave it to me when we first got
into McCoy collecting back in the 1970's. I have a few other things too
that I especially like. One is a rather large pitcher and bowl set in a
speckled white with rose design that I got from one of the other people
at the McCoy Lovers Reunion in Zanesville a few years ago and the other
is a cat with ball of yarn planter. One of our cats, when we had three,
broke mine. I had paid all of $11.00 for it in a mall in Zanesville.
Our younger daughter knew how much I wanted it and helped with the cost
of buying another one on eBay--and it was lots more than $11.00.
