Hi Dave,

I get the impression that you are mainly focusing on the cookie jars that w=
ere made by McCoy.

That's my main addiction too. However, I've been known to get McCoy pieces=
 that weren't cookie jars. LOL

If my assumption is correct and you are mainly looking to acquire McCoy cj'=
s then you HAVE to get a copy of "McCoy Cookie Jars - From the First to the=
Latest" by Harold Nichols. This is the McCoy cj collectors holy grail.=20=
=20

This book is "the only publication devoted strictly to McCoy Cookie Jars! =
Many McCoy jars never seen before! A numbering system all collectors can u=
se and understand. Interesting facts to help you understand collecting McC=
oy Cookie Jars. Full color photos of over 400 McCoy Cookie Jars. An alpha=
betical cross-reference index to locate any McCoy Cookie Jar."

The book has been out of print for over a decade and no new copies are arou=
nd. However, I registered at several online used book stores & one of them=
found the book for me and it only cost me about $12. There were a couple =
on Amazon.com but they were really pricey (around $75).=20=20

I use my book every time I go McCJ Hunting as a visual reference guide. I =
make notations of other info by each cj when I come across it. Like dimins=
ions whether it's a commonly reproduced one, etc.=20

I use Sanford 2002 McCoy in your pocket A-Z for value guide.

Happy McCollecting ~ Martie
