We collect McCoy and buy from eBay, antique shops, yard sales or where ever=
 McCoy can be found. We, like others of you, love the thrill of the hunt, t=
esting our knowledge and the hope for a once in a life time bargain that is=
 obtained from looking ourselves. But we also love eBay and for the same ba=
sic reasons. We learn a lot from bay and have met some great people. Most o=
f the same people that sell on eBay also collect. With eBay you can put in =
a search and view nothing but McCoy and see pictures to go with the descrip=
tions there is no better way to learn.
In short both methods are good and lots of fun.

  I do not like purchasing McCoy off of EBay, but I do buy lots of other th=
ings like Disney movies for the kids, karaoke stuff for my 13 yr old, sport=
s stuff for my son & other "stuff" but never McCoy.

  I like "McHunting" so I too think EBay makes it too easy (just my prefere=
nce) & I'm afraid of breakage during shipping & possibly buying a fake.

  That's what is so great about about people.  Everyone has their own prefe=
rences which makes sharing info so much more fun.  Would be very boring if =
we all did everything the same.
