News about the List

It has come to my attention that some people who have subscribed to the 
McCoyPottery-Talk List were slightly confused.  Some people apparently 
thought the mailing list was a sign up for a News Letter.  This is not 
the case.  It is an Internet Based Email List that allows discussion 
amongst parties via email.  If you subscribed by mistake thinking this 
was for a news letter printed on deceased spruce and do not wish to be on 
the list please email the List Mom at listmom@mccoypottery.com and I will 
remove you.

Also, for those of you who have subscribed and did not expect to get a 
large volume of mail we do have a Digest Version of the list.  It is 
called the McCoyPottery-Talk Digest. It is the same as the 
McCoyPottery-Talk List, however instead of receiving messages every time 
someone posts to the list, you will receive a weekly digest containing 
posts throughout the week. 

Also the McCoyPottery-Announce List is now online.  This list is 
primarily for those who wish to receive period announcements about the 
web site, updates, or other interesting information.

Below I have listed the various lists available at the site along with 
brief descriptions of each of them.

A general-purpose discussion email list for matters concerning McCoy 
Pottery, Cookie Jars, Planters, Commemorative Items, Brush McCoy, 
Lancaster Colony and more...
(This is not a news letter, it is an Internet Based Email List.)

McCoyPottery-Talk Digest
Same as the McCoyPottery-Talk List, however this is a Digest Version. 
Instead of receiving messages every time someone posts to the list, you 
will receive a weekly digest containing posts throughout the week.
This digest is generated once weekly on Sundays at 8:00P.M. (CST)

McCoyPottery-Announce (NOW OPERATIONAL)
Announcements of general interest about McCoy Pottery, new Web pages, new 
software, and new services that become available on the web site.
