that mark  was with the original JW  mccoy company as well And was used
also  In  Nelsons  comapny but with  the usa and numbers on it too. When
they  sold the Neslon McCoy Pottery Company and that was the name  when
it was sold  back in the  80's  its  only one of two  marks that  were
up for grabs one( I  think  is the Colony mark a later  mark  from when
the company was running after Neslon left ) since the were never
reregistered by  any of new owners of  McCoy  pottery.
heck you can  register the trademark just  to be able to use it on a web
site  with the little  r in the circle next to it LOL.  thats a use  you
only have to show you wil use it  and keep  others from  using it.
Jensons been  forging pottery since the  late 80's .
