 I guess anybody can register a trade make but it has to be your original ,you just can't register a trade mark ,make aa mold of the original an put your trake mark on it .That is illegal   ......John

they sold the Neslon McCoy Pottery Company and that was the name when
it was sold back in the 80's its only one of two marks that were
up for grabs one( I think is the Colony mark a later mark from when
the company was running after Neslon left ) since the were never
reregistered by any of new owners of McCoy pottery.
heck you can register the trademark just to be able to use it on a web
site with the little r in the circle next to it LOL. thats a use you
only have to show you wil use it and keep others from using it.
Jensons been forging pottery since the late 80's .
