To the Group and barb.....There are many such websites that anyone can search
for and find. To me, educating someone is encouraging them to use the
resources at hand. This includes using reference books available. I've
contributed to 4 of the mccoy books, one price /reference guide, the McCoy
section, three newsletters on McCoy and one on cookie jars. jeanette had a
wonderful page working on publicising the repros on the net...We currently
have Carol Seman's newsletter on McCoy...We have the McCoy Collectors Society
which has a quarterly newsletter. There are various web pages that have info
on repros, mccoy in general. good pages that have good iniformation....Among
us right here is Barb who is just soooo knowledgeable on cookie
jars..including McCoy and the Repros. This very e-mail link is a super
source of information if folks would just listen instead of acting like
Children squabbling. Actually, I feel like I"m a pretty decent source of
information on McCoy regardless of what some of you might think. Having
collected McCoy well over 30 years and contributed what I have to the field
and drawn from the knowledge of collectors before me as well as having the
McCoys for Friends and learning from them. I seriously doubt that any of you
could stand up to my enthusiasm or love for McCoy. So get real, be
appreciative of everyone who contributes something on the topic here.. But
also use the resources available to you...Study your books, get the
newsletters, search out those web pages on McCoy. And quit trying to insult
someone because they tire of some of the many messages that come through on
here. McCoy ;messages are always welcome on my computer....but why repeat
things over and over....Sure we tire of the repros...I personally do...get
your information straight before you continue to fuss and complain. And
Never, but Never think you love McCoy or despise the repros more than I do.
Furthermore, Thank God we live in such a wonderful country where you can
express your opinions...and Thank Terry for supplying this e-mail loop for
us.
