  Hello Patti , that was a good one .The milk glass pitcher.For the pitcher to weigh 2an a 1/4 or 1/2 what ever it was is real heavy for milk glass .If any thing it is pottery white an who is offer it just doesn't know what they are talking about.I think ?I collect milk glass stuff too for something to be 8 inches tall an weigh that much ,must be a real good buy ,, Ha  Ha ..John
